blurbing and nfl
And speaking of dealing with life, I am being being mobbed by my nieces on getting them NFL Merchandise for Christmas, after knowing that I am capable of shopping online, they are now getting into my nerves and still asking me to shop for them! knowing that I can't say no to any of their whims, I guess they'd be receiving something from nfluniformset.com after all. Thank goodness this famous site is currently giving out huge sale as of this time, thus making now as the perfect time to shop! aside from that, it can also make me busy to wallow and be sad...Then I guess I'd still be shopping early after all huh! Oh well, guess it's just about time.

on business hype
Actually, that is also what us bloggers are doing, we keep on finding ways to advertise our sites to the people who are into reading blogs and trying out new things, be it products or services that being offered online. With us bloggers, they can basically learn new things on this and that without even the hassle of going out and checking out the aisles of the supermarkets or hitting those business districts to find out what's the fad in the service world today. Am I making sense?! I hope so! Well you see, sometimes saying out aloud - well, via blog posts makes my mind flying free because thoughts on whatever can be poured out heavily thus making me able share my views on this and that. So there, this made me realized that in order for our small business to get a hype, maybe we should consider on trying out marketing strategies, so people or the target customers will get curious and try us out! hmmmm... sounds promising!

Holiday gift suggestion - for daddies
So anyways, a chrono watch or big and black faced Fossil watch will sure be a hit for the men of the family! I'm sure they will love receiving watch (knowing men? uh, they love wearing wrist watches! so it's for sure to be a hit). Of course if you have greater value of budget, you can always buy the expensive brands... but for me, this brand is the perfect fit for my small pocket :) I'm sure the husband and dad will not mind at all, they'll love it because it's from the bottom of my heart! teehee!
another note to self.
PBB season 4
Or maybe, I'm just expecting too much. Well, we'll get to see more of them in the upcoming days, and by then, know if they are good or boring as I first thought they would be. And by the way, I don't dig the house design or the interior of the house too... ceramic tiles are too funky and the walls are too lousy. I don't know, maybe I'm so not into loud painted walls or something, yeah.. it's just me and my being so different. haha

Caramel Apples
Hey ya mommies! need a trick for your kids to eat fruits?! how about making caramel apples for them! It'll surely make them so happy to eat one with all the sweets and stuff surrounding the whole apple. Now here's something I got online on how to make one :D
Ingredients
8 apples1 cup chopped nuts (peanuts are best)
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 craft sticks (pointy on one end)
Preparations
Thoroughly wash and dry apples and insert craft sticks firmly. Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Place chopped nuts in bowl. Over high heat cook 3/4 cup of cream, corn syrup, butter and sugar until the syrup is golden (280 degrees on a candy thermometer). Remove from heat and carefully add remaining cream and vanilla. Stir and mix through. Dip each apple into the caramel and swirl to coat. Once coated, dip into nuts and then place on parchment lined baking pan to cool. (Makes 8 apples)**Nuts are optional. Can be replaced with confetti sprinkles, mini M&Ms, or mini marshmallows.

Anyways, I also bought a lot of activity art items for my daughter, she's been practically bored during the last weekend and I thought of getting her another set of coloring paraphernalias, this time I got her crayola twistables and water color together with her activity writing books and drawing pad. And as expected, so many kisses and hugs were given in return :D love it!

photo op idea!
Anyways, aside from gifts and other what not to get I am also in charge (well, all of us are) in thinking of creative party set ups, since we are gonna be having a lot for this holiday season, different themes and get ups is a must. Well, no to buying expensive decorations of course, although we can make use of what the venue has, be it one of those exam table that we can turn into a platform for kids - for the photo op section.
Speaking of photo booth, found this super nice and dainty idea from DPC site, I might suggest this for us to try on one of our party :D

fashion pair
I was browsing $ 8 Rx eyeglasses from Zenni this morning since I'll probably get one for myself before we hit the year end. Been experiencing terrible eye and headaches sometime now and my doctor advised me to have a check up on an ophthalmologist or optometrist to see if I really need one. And since I saw their tag How You Can Start Spending Smart and about them selling my My favorite high fashion eyeglasses I thought that it is probably a great chance for me to get a pair.

My OC-ness Level rated!
NOVICE OC!
You’ve just started to realize how important it is to organize. What matters to you now is to increase your productivity. But because you’re still clueless about the organizing process, you tend to buy one of each thing such as notes and flags. Color and design influence your choice in supplies. At this point you most probably have a beginner’s OC tool with you wherever you go which you got as a gift from a friend, bought for yourself or drank endless lattes for last Christmas - a notebook planner.
You most likely have Post-it® Notes in one or two different sizes. For you, we recommend your OC Pack to include more Post-it® Notes and Page Markers to get you started.

photography
1. DSLR Camera - don’t care how many megapixels, or if it shoots video, or whether its full frame or dx sized. Just so you like it and you’re comfortable using it.
2. Macro Lens - Manufacturer branded lenses are best, and of course most expensive. Most of the major aftermarket brands are fine (Sigma, Tamron) but do your research on those first and I’ve heard of some quality issues from time to time with aftermarket gear.
3. Good Tripod - Since food photography is all about slowly building the image from test shot to test shot, a sturdy tripod is a must.
4. Homemade Reflectors - A trip to the art store will set this up for you. A couple half sheets of fomecore, some silver boards, a utility knife, some funtak and a couple of artists manikins and you’ve got yourself all that you need for making reflector cards and a means to keep them in place.
5. Computer Work Station Capable of Shooting Tethered - Specifying a computer workstation setup is a whole other can of worms, but chances are you’re already working with one so the big thing to notice here is the ability to shoot tethered.
6. Color Checker - Something like the Expodisc or a Macbeth color checker is crucial.
7. Studio Strobes or Mono lights - These can be fairly expensive, or relatively cheap. It all depends on how much you shoot and how hard you are on your gear. One key factor to keep in mind is the availability and diversity of light modifiers for your particular system. A typical studio setup for me contains 2 or 3 lights with fairly focused light modifiers like grid spots or snoots and 1 soft fill light, usually a softbox overhead or slightly behind.
